What exactly does Blush & Oak do?
Blush & Oak is a branding studio focused on strategic branding. I bring brand strategy, design and storytelling together to build brands with a clear identity that communicate who they are in a meaningful and authentic way.
This can start with strategic foundations , evolve into a distinctive visual identity and extend to practical brand applications such as social media templates, presentations and business materials.
How is Blush & Oak different from a traditional design agency?
The biggest difference lies in approachI don’t jump straight into design without first understanding the business behind the brand.
I take the time to explore your brand, its positioning, goals and target audience. These insights then guide design decisions that are purposeful, considered and aligned with your brand.

STRATEGIC BRANDING connects the foundations of a brand with its visual identity and verbal expression..
It starts with questions such as: What does your business stand for? Who do you want to reach? What makes your offering different? Which values and qualities should your brand communicate?
The answers shape how your brand communicates, looks and is perceived.That’s why strategy and design go hand in hand.

What’s the difference between Brand Strategy, Brand Identity and Brand Excellence?
Brand Strategy establishes the strategic foundation of your brand. Together, we define your positioning, target audience, brand values, personality and messaging.
Brand Identity translates your brand’s identity into a visual system of logos, colours, typography, art direction and other design eIements.
Brand Excellence brings strategy, visual identity and selected brand applications together in one comprehensive brand system.

Can I book individual services?
YesDepending on your needs and starting point, individual projects are absolutely possible. What matters to me is that the design makes sense within the context of your brand..
If you need social media templates or a presentation, for example, we’ll first look at your existing brand identity and identify the foundations needed to create a consistent result.
I already have a logo. Can I still work with Blush & Oak?
Absolutely. An existing logo can be a great starting point. Together, we’ll look at whether it still reflects your brand and which elements are already working well.
Depending on your needs, we can build on what you have, expand your existing design system or explore whether a more comprehensive brand evolution or rebrand would make sense.
Can I expand my branding at a later stage?
Yes. A well-designed brand system should have room to evolve. Additional applications, such as presentations, social media assets or business materials, can be developed based on your existing brand identity.
That way, you won’t have to start from scratch every timeyour business has new needs.
WORKING TOGETHER & THE PROCESS
What does the collaboration process look like?
Every project starts with a no-obligation enquiry and an initial discovery call.We’ll talk about your business, your goals and where your brand stands today.
From there, we agree on the right WHAT’S INCLUDED . Once you’ve commissioned the project, the agreed project phase begins; which may include research and strategy, design development, and finally the preparation and handover of your deliverables.
Before we get started, you’ll know which steps to expect and what you’ll receive at the end.
How do I get started with a project?

You don’t need to have every detail figured out yet. Once I receive your enquiry, I’ll get back to you and we’ll discuss the next steps.

How long does a branding project take?
That depends on the scope, complexity and feedback rounds involved. An individual design project generally takes less time than a comprehensive branding project covering strategy, visual identity and multiple applications.
We’ll discuss the estimated timeline before the project begins,so you can plan accordingly.
Do I need to know exactly how I want my brand to look?
Not at all, quite the opposite. You don’t need to bring a finished moodboard or a precise vision for your logo, colours or typography.
It helps if you share your thoughts, goals and ideas with me. From there, we’ll develop a clear direction together. Part of my role is to ask the right questions, share my expertise and guide you through the decision-making process.
How involved do I need to be in the project?
Your input matters because you know your business and your customers best. You’ll share insights into your business, goals and ideas, and take part in the agreed feedback and review stages.
I take care of the strategic and creative development within the agreed scope, building your brand step by step on a thoughtful strategic foundation..
Can we have an initial discovery call?
Yes. Before working together, we’ll have a no-obligation conversation about your project, your goals and the possible next steps. This gives us the chance to find out whether the project and our collaboration are a good fit for both of us :).
PRICING & DELIVERABLES
How much does branding with Blush & Oak cost?
The costs depends on the services you need and the scope of the project . A strategic foundation, for example, involves a different scope of work than a comprehensive branding project with visual identity, brand guidelines and multiple applications.
After our conversation, you’ll receive a a tailored proposaloutlining the agreed services and project scope in a clear and transparent way.
Why doesn’t every service have a fixed price?
Every brand has a different starting point and different needs.A standard package may be exactly right for one business, while another needs a more tailored approach.
That’s why we first work out what makes sense for your brand and then put together a suitable proposal. This way, you’re not paying for services you don’t actually need.
What will I receive at the end of the project?
That depends on the agreed scope of work.Depending on the project, deliverables may include strategy documents, logo files, colour and typography specifications, brand guidelines, social media strategy and visual assets, or other design applications.
The specific deliverables and file formats will be outlined in your proposal,so you’ll know exactly what’s included.
